ECO-MOCHILA | DELUXE

An “eco-mochila” is a traditional bag used in Colombia that is hand-crocheted by women in the village of Los Limites near Proyecto Tití’s field site in Santa Catalina, Colombia.  It is hand-made and created entirely from recycled plastic bags.  By purchasing one of our eco-mochilas, you are helping the community of Los Limites generate income that helps support their families while reducing their dependency on forest resources

Made from recycled plastic bags; faux leather handles and closure strap.

Easily cleaned with soap and water. Durable and water resistant.

Color Availability: We will do our best to accommodate your color preference request, however, please note that color availability is dependent on plastic bag color availability.

Number of Bags: Each deluxe eco-mochila is made up of 120 recycled plastic bags.

Shipping Outside of the U.S.: Please note that orders shipped outside of the United States will have shipping calculated separately after the order is received.
